We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. “Riptide Products” collects information from our users at several different points on our Web site.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. A Per Session cookie* is used on this to allow us to remember any details you post via an online enqiury/quotation request form. This means that if you choose to get a quotation from a different broker it will save you re-entering your personal details. Once you close your browser, the cookie simply terminates. If you reject the cookie, you may still use our site but will need to re-enter name, phone number etc for each form you complete.

* A “per Session cookie”, which contains a random ID number automatically allocated to your computer by the webserver for the duration of your visit. It is meant to make your use of the Site faster and easier. It will be automatically removed from your computer when you close your browser.

From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and address), and demographic information (such as postcode, age). Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
